What does Sedation Dentistry feel like?

You are however in a deeply relaxed state, while still being able to understand and respond to Dr. Little. Are there any side-effects of Sedation Dentistry?
After undergoing Sedation Dentistry it is essential that you arrange for someone to drive you home from the practice and stay with you until the sedation fully wears off. It is also imperative not to eat a heavy meal soon after. Do not drink alcohol or take medications for the rest of the day, unless you have spoken with your Dentist about it.

Dr. Little offers three levels of Sedation to help make your treatment more comfortable. Patients may choose a selection of either (Intravenous) IV Sedation, Oral Sedation, Nitrous Oxide or a combination of all three methods. Sedation Dentistry enables you to receive the dental care you require; easily, quickly and comfortably. Depending on your individual needs, Sedation Dentistry may last between 2 to 6 hours. You will be relaxed and at ease throughout the procedure. You are not unconscious at any time, just in a deeply relaxed state. Even the most highly anxious individuals can be treated successfully using this technique.
